Oscar de la Renta againstMichelle Obama once again attained the love of the fashion world with her choice of clothes for official events. So for the recent visit of Chinese President to USA she wore a British designer, Alexander McQueen and Roksanda Ilincic.
Not all were happy so the famous American designer Oscar de la Renta said "My understanding,is that the visit was to promote American-Chinese trade — American products in China and Chinese products in America. Why do you wear European clothes?"
"I'm not talking about my clothes, my business," he told WWD. "I'm old, and I don't need it. But there are a lot of young people, very talented people here who do."
